Those words were shouted joyfully by a bride twirling through this tunnel of trees we designed in 2022, planting a seed I couldn’t ignore. And now? It’s official – that’s exactly what I’m doing!

The Day’s Design is now The Ferguson Cottage – bringing our signature romantic, classic and natural Northern Michigan style home. We’re expanding beyond weddings to offer a full line of interior design services, because beauty shouldn’t stop at the altar.

I’m passionate about historic charm, natural textures and timeless touches and I believe the best spaces feel as lived in as they are lovely.

We’re not stepping away from weddings and florals, however we are taking on fewer large events so we can make room for this new chapter in design.
