I’ve been holding onto a little secret.

About a year and a half ago, I rebranded from The Day’s Design to The Ferguson Cottage. While weddings and special events will always have a space in my heart, I felt a strong pull to shift my focus toward decorating the spaces we live in every single day.

Don’t get me wrong — weddings are incredibly special. They’re emotional, meaningful, and beautiful. But somewhere along the way, I started asking myself: why do we put so much emphasis on making one day perfect, but not the spaces that hold our everyday lives?

Our homes are where the real moments happen. Morning coffee. Weeknight dinners. Quiet Sundays. The places that witness our routines, our messes, and our memories. If we’re willing to invest in having someone design a space for one important day, why wouldn’t we invest in designing a home that lasts far longer than a wedding ever could?

Along with that shift came new questions — especially around where to find the pieces that give a home soul.

If you know me, you know I’ve always loved the old, the quirky, and the slightly unexpected. Antiques, vintage finds, thrifted treasures — digging through other people’s discarded items to uncover true diamonds in the rough has always been one of my favorite pastimes. But I also know that not everyone can see the potential in those pieces… and not everyone has the time (or patience) to hunt for them.

So I had an idea.

Over the years, I’ve collected pieces that I absolutely love — items I know are special, timeless, and full of character — but that simply haven’t found the right home yet. And instead of keeping them tucked away, I want to share them with you.

That brings me to something new.

I’m so excited to introduce The Ferguson Collection — a curated selection of nostalgic finds and timeless designs, thoughtfully sourced and ready for the right space to love them. Pieces that feel storied, collected, and meant to last.

We’re not launching just yet, but I wanted to start building a little excitement and let you in on what’s coming.
